Floyd MasemulaExecutive Operating Officer, South AfricaQualifications: BEng (Mining Engineering) MBA Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practice MDP Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency Floyd has almost two decades of experience in various operational, management and executive roles in the gold and PGM mining sectors covering diverse mining methods including ultra-deep level, bord-and-pillar and open cast mining. Floyd was appointed Executive Operating Officer: South Africa on 4 July 2023. Prior to that, he held the positions of Senior Vice President and Head of Mining with Sibanye-Stillwater’s PGM division and Regional General Manager at Harmony as well as various General Manager roles with AngloGold Ashanti. He served two terms as council member for the Association of Mine Managers of South Africa.
