RECRUITMENT PROCESS

STEP 1: APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Submit your application or expression of interest through Seek or LinkedIn

STEP 2: APPLICATION REVIEW

We will carefully review your application, and suitable candidates will be chosen for an initial screening process. Unsuccessful applicants will be promptly notified.

STEP 3: SCREENING CALL

If selected, we will give you a call for a brief chat about yourself and to provide you with more information on the role and Harmony.

STEP 4: INTERVIEW PROCESS

After the screening call, our team will discuss your application with the Hiring Manager and, if aligned, we will invite you for an interview. The panel usually consists of a member of the recruitment team, the Hiring Manager and their one up Manager.

Certain positions may involve second interviews and/or assessments, such as aptitude or psychometric testing.

STEP 5: REFERENCE CHECKS

Following the interview, you may be requested to provide details of your referees so we can get a deeper understanding of your technical and soft skills to assist us to gauge organisational fit for Harmony.

Our team will call your referees to complete these reference checks.

STEP 6: OFFER

The successful applicant will receive a formal offer via email which will include a Contract of Employment and any other relevant information and documentation relating to the role.

The offer will be subject to a pre-employment medical which will be organised by the Harmony team upon acceptance.

What materials are required for application? Is a resume sufficient, or should I include a cover letter?
Always include a cover letter! It helps us to understand your motivation and career objectives and what joining Harmony means to you. While a resume provides details about your experience, a cover letter offers insights into who you are.

I’m unable to apply online. What alternatives exist to submit my application?
Our jobs are advertised on Seek and LinkedIn, please use the online application process attached to the job advertisement as it will ensure that we receive your application and can include you for shortlisting. What occurs after I submit an application?
Our Recruitment Team will assess your application. We do this as applications are received so we suggest you lodge your application as soon as possible. We are committed to providing feedback to every applicant, whether their application is successful or not however, at times, the volume of applications received means that we can only contact those applicants who will be progressing to the screening process.

How should I prepare for an interview with Harmony?
Preparing for interviews can be overwhelming – we have been through them too! The key is to bring your authentic self to the interview – we are eager to get to know you better.

How do I communicate my need for special accommodations during the interview to the hiring manager?
Our Recruitment Team will consistently check in with you during conversations to enquire about any accommodations you may need throughout the recruitment process. If we overlook this, feel free to voice your needs – we are more than willing to support you in any way we can.
