Graham Briggs, Harmony’s chief executive officer said, “An important part of our responsibility as a corporate citizen is to facilitate the socio-economic development of the communities located in the vicinity of our operations. Having engaged with the Merafong and Khutsong communities, we identified the need for improved sports, science and computer facilities at the local high school and for a community business centre. These were causes close to our hearts, since it is vitally important that we give our young people the tools necessary to help them succeed in life, both economically and socially.” For more details contact: Marian van der WaltExecutive: Corporate andInvestor Relations+27 (0) 82 888 1242 (mobile) Graham BriggsChief Executive Officer+27 (0) 83 265 0274 (mobile)
