Harmony maintains CDP A-rating for water management in 2023
Johannesburg. Monday, 12 February 2024. Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited (“Harmony” and/or “the Company”) is pleased to report that it has maintained an outstanding CDP score of ‘A’ for its water management strategy during the 2023 assessment period.
The CDP is a global non-profit organisation that runs the world’s environmental disclosure system for companies and regions. Founded in 2000 and working with more than 740 financial institutions with over $16 trillion in assets, CDP assists companies to disclose their environmental impacts, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, safeguard water resources and protect forests.

At Harmony, proactive risk management supports our approach to water management. We have put several initiatives in place such as reusing, recycling and reducing our potable water intake while also managing water consumption and securing water supply.
